As tree work can be dangerous it is important that the arborists you commission for your tree work, are trained to the highest standards and certified by LANTRA and NPTC. Silverleaf guarantee these standards to BS3998 and as safety is at the forefront of our business, we always carry out a full site specific risk assessment on every job. For your peace of mind we carry £5 million of public liability cover.

To maintain a tree in a safe condition, tree pruning may be necessary. Pruning consists of removing dead branches to promote new growth, improve quality of flowers, fruit or timber and regulate size and shape to improve appearance. If trees are not pruned correctly, they can be unsightly, diseased and potentially dangerous.
